🛠 How to Install & Activate “Clickable Image Comments” Plugin in WordPress

✅ Step 1: Download the Plugin

Make sure you have the plugin .zip file. You'll have access to the .zip file once you complete the transaction.

📥 Step 2: Install the Plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
2. Go to Plugins > Add New.
3. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top.
4. Choose the .zip file and click Install Now.
5. Once installed, click Activate Plugin.

🔐 Step 3: Enter Your License Key

1. In the left-hand menu, go to Image Comments Pro (you’ll see this after activation).
2. Enter the license key you received after purchasing (via Gumroad).
3. Click Save Changes.
4. If your license is valid, you’ll see a ✅ confirmation message.

🖼 Step 4: Use It in a Post

1. Edit or create a new Post.
2. Make sure your post has a Featured Image set.
3. In the post content, add the shortcode:

   [annotated_featured_image]

4. Publish or update the post.

💬 Step 5: Add Comments to the Image

1. On the post's frontend, click anywhere on the image to start a comment.
2. The regular WordPress comment form will appear.
3. Type your comment and submit.
4. A red dot will appear at that spot, with a tooltip showing the comment content on hover.
5. Click a dot to scroll to the full comment in the thread.

⚙️ Optional: Customize Appearance

In Image Comments Pro settings, you can adjust:
