  2. Install: Open your target Google Sheet. Go to Extensions > Apps Script. Copy the code from the provided Code.gs and SidebarCharts.html files into corresponding files in your script editor. Click Save.
  3. Open & Activate: Refresh your Google Sheet. A new "Chart Creator" menu will appear. Click it, then "Open Chart Creator". When the sidebar opens, enter your license key when prompted to activate the tool for this specific document. (You'll only need to do this once per sheet).
  4. Select & Create: Choose a chart type from the dropdown in the sidebar and click "Create".
  5. Add Your Data: Go to the newly created sheet tab (e.g., "ChartData_PieChart_1") and replace the dummy data with your own, following the structure and comments.
  6. Refresh & Customize: Click "Refresh Chart Data" in the sidebar to update the preview. Use the controls below the chart to customize the preview's title and background color.
  7. Export: Click "Download PNG" or "Insert Image to Sheet" as needed!
